Toyota apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delivery backlogs on models like the Innova Hycross MPV and Fortuner SUV from Toyota. It is indeed unfortunate that many customers are experiencing significant waiting times, which can be frustrating and disappointing. The company acknowledges this issue and has expressed their apologies to the affected customers. Toyota is actively working to address this situation and improve the delivery process. They are making efforts to increase production capacity and reduce the waiting times. The company is operating their factory with three shifts for six days a week, working around the clock to meet the demand and deliver the cars to customers as soon as possible. It is worth noting that Toyota has a partnership with Maruti Suzuki in India, which allows them to share products and models. However, despite this collaboration, they have faced challenges in scaling up supplies to match the high volume of orders they are receiving. To address this issue in the long term, Toyota has announced plans for a new plant at their existing factory in Bangalore, with a significant investment of Rs 3,300 crore. However, production from this new plant is expected to begin only in 2026. In the meantime, Toyota is committed to working diligently to fulfill customer orders and minimize the waiting period. They understand the frustration and inconvenience faced by customers, and they are striving to provide earlier deliveries whenever possible. Overall, Toyota is actively addressing the situation and working towards improving the delivery process to ensure a better customer experience.
