One highlight of Bosch’s tradeshow appearance is the technological refinement of the workshop business. The increasing degree of networking, you see, is also changing the nature of service work. Bosch has developed the requisite modules, and is set to debut new technologies for the “connected workshop” at Automechanika. An especially interesting module is the use of Augmented Reality for motor vehicle repairs and training. On the stand, visitors will have the opportunity to try out Augmented Reality themselves at numerous stations using their own Smartphone.
