ADVIK Hi-Tech, an automotive component manufacturer showcases an exciting lineup of four new BS-VI compliant products at the Auto Expo 2018.Apart from the current products like Oil Pump, Water Pump, Tensioner, CBS – Combined Braking System, ADVIK is displaying its latest range including Throttle Body, Secondary Air Injection / Air Secondary Valve , Purge Valve, Reed Valve and CBS (Combined Braking System)
As India leapfrogs from BS-IV to BS-VI, there would be a technological shift in the engine technology. BS-VI norms would mandate the use of electronic fuel injection (EFI) systems in two-wheelers to replace carburetors. Throttle Body Technology in EFI would replace carburetor Technology. ADVIK has fully developed complete Throttle Body Assembly and geared up for the launch of BS-VI emission norms. For meeting BS-IV norms, ADVIK has developed SAI / ASV. It injects fresh air into the exhaust stream to allow for a fuller combustion of exhaust gases. Currently, ADVIK is one of the largest manufacturers of SAI / ASV in India.
BS IV regulation establishes the first-ever evaporative emission (EVAP) standards for two- and three-wheelers. Purge Valve is the part of the vehicle Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) system. EVAP system prevents fuel vapors in the fuel tank from escaping into the atmosphere. Gasoline fumes which are generated in the fuel tank gets stored in Canister. Purge Valve controls the flow of this absorbed fuel fumes from Canister to the engine from the intake manifold. Another product that helps to meet BS IV emission norm is Reed Valve. It is located between an intake manifold and a cylinder for preventing blowback from the cylinder into the manifold and for reducing back pressure in intake manifold on an internal combustion engine. Reed valve evacuates the blowback gages through the air filter and back to intake manifold.
ADVIK is one of the manufacturers of mechanical CBS (Combined Braking System). The company is manufacturing CBS since 2010 and more than 10 million CBS made by ADVIK is currently running on Indian roads. CBS prevents vehicle skidding during panic braking and improves stability and stopping distance. India has made CBS is mandatory from April 2018 for all vehicles below 125 cc.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Aditya Bhartia, Managing Director, ADVIK Group of Companies, said, “We are delighted to be a part of the Component Expo. As India advances from BS-IV to BS-VI emission norms necessitating a shift in engine technology, our products showcased here are well positioned to help our customers stay ahead in changing market. We are a future-ready brand and these products underscore our commitment to developing best-in-class clean mobility solutions.”
ADVIK Hi-Tech is already the world leader in the manufacturing of oil pumps in the 2-wheeler segment along with tensioners and CBS – Combined Braking System.
