Axalta’s latest initiative will support 140 girls in Bulandshahr through education, STEM learning and development programmes.
Axalta is continuing its longstanding partnership with the Pardada Pardadi Educational Society (PPES) to support the education and development of girls in Uttar Pradesh.
Under the latest initiative, 140 girls in Bulandshahr will benefit from the programme. The support covers education, books, uniforms, meals, transportation, healthcare and sports.
The programme also includes STEM learning, leadership development and personality-building activities. It supports students from kindergarten through college.
The association between Axalta and PPES has continued for nearly two decades. Over this period, the partnership has focused on creating greater access to education and opportunities for girls.
Dr. Prameela Susarla, Vice President and Managing Director, Axalta India, highlighted the role of education in creating opportunities for social mobility and gender equality. She also emphasised the importance of STEM education in this effort.
The initiative is aimed at helping students continue their education and develop skills that can support their future careers and economic independence.
