Imperial Auto, a global fluid transmission solutions provider, has inaugurated its Global Technology Centre in Backnang, Germany, to continue strengthening its presence and technology, engineering and innovation capabilities in the European automotive market. The centre will serve as a key technology, engineering and customer collaboration hub, connecting European customers with Imperial Auto’s global technology, engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
Located in the Stuttgart metropolitan region, one of Europe’s key automotive and engineering regions, the Backnang facility will support passenger cars, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, off-highway equipment and emerging mobility applications. The centre will enable closer collaboration with European OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers across the product development and industrialisation process, while facilitating the exchange of technical expertise and technology between European customers and Imperial Auto’s global engineering teams.
