  • ASDC comes on board as a Skill Development Partner
  • A series of assessments will be held for women drivers from India at Erda’s Speedway in Vadodara, India in November 2021

23rd November 2021: AutoGuru India along with Formula Woman UK are bringing a unique platform that gives a golden opportunity to women drivers to be in McLaren driving seat in 2022. Automotive Skill Development Council (ASDC) have come on board as a skill partner for the 2-day event to be held India at Erda’s Speedway in Vadodara, India in November 2021.

The 2-day event which will be held at Erda’s Speedway in Vadodara will give women drivers a platform to make a career in motorsport. In these 2 days, the women drivers will be assessed over 5 parameters i.e., driving, go-karting, physical fitness, media, and written test. The 3 winners from India will further progress to the UK leg where they will compete with 47 other Women from across the 28 participating countries. Over rounds of eliminations, 12 Women will go through the TV shoot-out episode to be held in February / March 2022 in UK/Europe. Over further assessments, 6 winners will get a dream chance to compete in the McLaren GT Cup Championship in England.
