The new Xcent boosts of various new technologies like waste gate turbocharger with ECU control for better throttle response, tube type EGR cooler mounted on EGR in the diesel engine and low friction timing chain and oil seal and piston cooling jet in the petrol engine. Company offcials said that almost 90 percent localisation has been maintained in Xcent, similar to Grand i10.
