Uno Minda, a leading name in India’s automotive aftermarket, has announced the launch of its new Car EV Wall Charger, designed to offer a safe, efficient, and intelligent home-charging solution for EV users. The system features a high-performance 7.4kW, single-phase output at 230V AC and universal compatibility with all Type 2 connector electric vehicles.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Anand Kumar, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Uno Minda Ltd. The unit offers fast energy delivery with effective thermal management, ensuring stable performance during prolonged use.”
The charger comes with an IP65-rated water- and dust-resistant enclosure and an IK10 impact-resistant body, designed to withstand varied Indian environmental conditions. A smart LED interface provides real-time charging status and error notifications. Connectivity options include cellular network, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0, enabling remote monitoring and smart integration.
Safety features include protection against overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating, and short circuits, along with automatic cut-off and restart capabilities to maintain uninterrupted operation. Its compact, wall-mounted design ensures ease of installation and everyday usability.
The Uno Minda EV Wall Charger will be available across key offline retail outlets and online platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart, and Unomindakart, at an MRP of ₹50,000, with a special introductory price of ₹32,514. The product is backed by a one-year warranty.
