Japanese-Inspired Performance and Premium Lubrication Technology Now Available for Indian Riders Through Motul India

Motul India has officially introduced IPONE in the Indian market, bringing the globally acclaimed French motorcycle lubricant brand to a new generation of performance-focused riders. Combining advanced lubrication technology with bold rider culture, IPONE aims to redefine the premium motorcycle oil segment in India.

Inspired by Japanese motorcycling culture and engineered exclusively for motorcycles, IPONE enters India as a lifestyle-driven performance brand designed for riders who seek a blend of speed, style, and reliability. The launch marks Motul India’s strategic push into the growing premium two-wheeler lubrication segment, catering to enthusiasts across street, touring, adventure, and racing categories.

Backed by Motul’s global expertise and industrial legacy, the new IPONE range introduces a unique belt-based classification system inspired by martial arts progression. Each tier is tailored to a specific riding intensity and performance requirement, simplifying lubricant selection for consumers.

The IPONE portfolio in India will be structured across four distinct categories:

Black Belt – Racing Range
Headlined by the flagship Shogun series, the Black Belt range is inspired by Japanese racing DNA and engineered for maximum protection under extreme riding conditions. The range has proven its performance credentials through its association with the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.

Blue Belt – Sport Range
A fully synthetic oil range developed for superior engine output and high-performance riding across both on-road and off-road applications. Designed for riders seeking uncompromised performance and reliability.

Green Belt – Advanced Range
Semi-synthetic formulations created for versatile, everyday riding needs. The range delivers dependable engine protection while offering strong value for daily commuters and touring riders.

Yellow Belt – Standard Range
An accessible and efficient lubricant range built for riders looking for reliable engine care and quality performance at an affordable price point.
