Frank Huber is set to join Marelli as the Executive Vice President and President of Automotive Lighting and Sensing, effective March 1, 2024. He will be based in Reutlingen, Germany. David Slump, President and CEO of Marelli, expressed his delight at Frank’s appointment, citing his vast experience in the automotive industry as a valuable asset to the Marelli leadership team. Frank will be responsible for spearheading the growth strategy of the Automotive Lighting & Sensing division, the largest part of Marelli’s business.

Sylvain Dubois, who has been with Marelli for over 18 years, will be leaving the company. The decision to part ways was mutual, and David Slump personally thanked Sylvain for his leadership and contribution to Automotive Lighting & Sensing and Marelli over the years. Sylvain will remain with the company until June 1 to ensure a seamless handover process.

Frank brings over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry to Marelli, with a detailed understanding of the automotive lighting business. Before his appointment at Marelli, he served as the President of the global automotive seating business at Forvia in France since 2022. He has also worked as the CEO of automotive lighting and member of the management board at Hella in Germany. During his tenure at Hella, Frank held various leadership positions in lighting in China, the U.S., and Mexico. Before that, he worked at McKinsey, Audi, Mercedes-AMG, and Liebherr Aerospace. Frank holds an Executive MBA from Harvard Business School, a PhD in Automotive Engineering, and is a graduate of Stuttgart University in Germany.
