In order to showcase the products manufactured by members of Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association (AIEMA) and other manufacturers, AIEMA is organising the 11th International Industrial Exhibition ‘ACMEE 2014’ in Chennai from 19th to 23rd. June, 2014. The five-day exhibition has attracted more than 450 participants; direct participation from 30 countries including Austria, Australia, Brazil, China, Germany, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UK and the US. The theme of the exhibition is ‘An opportunity for growth.’

This time the organisers have decided to give more importance to visitors; they have arranged special information hoardings to address their needs. This will help all participants to follow-up after the exhibition, besides enabling them to turn every visitor into a potential customer. The trade fair is expecting 20% more visitors compared to the earlier edition in 2012; last time around 45,000 visitors came.

The Chairman ACMEE 2014, S Chandrasekaran said, “The current edition will focus on products, solutions and services in the areas of CNC machine tools, automobiles, mechanical and plant engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, information technology (IT) and software.” He explained the show is of international standards, with the approval of India Trade Promotion Organisation for foreign participation. “ACMEE 2014, thus, is a mammoth affair catering to a range of interests useful for the industries – both exhibitors and buyers,” he added.

The trade fair will see over 450 companies including CNC machine manufacturers, CNC & PLC controls, CAD / CAM systems, cutting tools and accessories, special purpose machines, pneumatics, hydraulics, industrial robotics, instrumentation, low cost automation, machinery & machine tools, welding, material handling systems, environmental machinery, energy saving solutions, sheet metal press, laser cutting, cleaning systems, cold forging machines, co-ordinate measuring machines, control devices, power tools, system consultancy, sub-assemblies services, testing & measurement equipment and related IT & consultancy services.
