Valeo has announced the elevation of Jayakumar G to the position of Power Asia Regional Operations Vice-President. He assumes this newly expanded regional leadership role within the Valeo Power Division, covering Japan, Korea, ASEAN, in addition to his current role as Valeo India President and Managing Director.
This strategic appointment underlines Valeo’s commitment to driving growth, operational excellence, and innovation within its Power Division across the dynamic Asian market. Jayakumar will continue to spearhead Valeo’s strategic initiatives in India which is a key region for growth of business, and a cornerstone of Valeo’s Elevate 2028 strategic plan, while simultaneously bringing his extensive leadership experience to the wider Asian region.
The Valeo Power Division aims to be a world leader & partner of all mobility players in electrification solutions, including software, thermal management & electric propulsion, and contribute to a carbon-free and sustainable mobility.

With over three decades of experience in the automotive industry, Jayakumar is a seasoned leader who has previously held prominent positions at Lear Corporation and Bosch and has been with Valeo for over 16 years.
