The NBC brand of bearings is manufactured by National Engineering Industries Ltd. (NEI), the largest bearing manufacturer and exporter in India. Through its subsidiary NBC Global, NEI has announced the opening of its Global Technology Center (GTC) in Würzburg, Bavaria (Germany). The technology centre will concentrate on product development, application engineering, and manufacturing technology for the automotive and industrial sectors. In addition to serving as an extension of NBC Bearings in India, it will support the company’s OEM clients based in Europe and around the world by promoting innovation, quick implementation of new ideas, responsiveness to client needs, and market needs. The GTC was introduced during IAA Transportation 2022, which is currently taking place in Hanover, Germany.

To capitalize on the synergies, GTC will also work in close cooperation with NBC Global’s entity in Slovakia, Kinex bearings (a major global supplier of standard and special rolling bearings for various industrial and railways applications with reach to more than 80 countries).
