‘SHOWCASING THE NEXT PHASE OF SMART MANUFACTURING EVOLUTION’
Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems has organised Innovation Days 2026 at its state-of-the-art Innovation Centre in Bavdhan, Pune, as a live showcase of how next-generation manufacturing is transitioning from concept to real-world implementation. The three-day event is expected to bring together a wide spectrum of stakeholders, including OEMs, Tier suppliers, industry partners and manufacturing leaders, with strong participation from the automotive and manufacturing sectors.
At a time when manufacturing is rapidly evolving towards more connected, intelligent and highly adaptive production systems, Innovation Days 2026 brings this transformation to life. Built around the theme “Global Innovation, Mastered Locally,” the platform demonstrates how global technologies are being translated into practical, scalable solutions tailored to Indian manufacturing needs.
As manufacturing grows more complex, with increasing focus on precision, traceability and seamless processes, the showcase demonstrates how connected solutions can simplify these challenges. Designed as a real factory environment, the Innovation Centre allows customers to experience and evaluate technologies before implementing them on their shopfloors.
At its core, the integrated ecosystem brings together advanced tightening solutions, battery torquing tools, advanced virtual controller systems, vision-enabled dispensing, 2D and 3D vision systems, glass glazing, ISRA glass decking, BIW E-Swirl applications, and platforms like ToolsNet 8 and ENSO controllers. The focus for these days is also on Automation and Screw Feeding which empowers the industry to improve the productivity of their lines. Through live demonstrations, visitors gain a clear understanding of how these solutions can be applied in real-world scenarios to enhance quality, streamline operations and improve efficiency across automotive and manufacturing environments.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Chandrashekhar Pathak, General Manager, Industrial Technique, Atlas Copco (India) Pvt Ltd., said, “Manufacturing today is undergoing a fundamental shift towards more connected, intelligent and flexible ecosystems. Innovation Days 2026 aredesigned to bring this evolution to life through a real-world simulation of how technologies come together on the shopfloor. This platform enables customers to not just explore innovation, but experience how these solutions can be practically implemented to enhance precision, productivity and decision-making in their everyday manufacturing operations. This is the 2nd edition after having organised a similar event in 2025. Building on the phenomenal response from our 2025 edition, we are proud to present the second edition of the event. The overwhelming enthusiasm from customers has inspired us to bring this back in 2026 and look towards making it an annual tradition.”
The platform reinforces the shift towards integrated, data-driven manufacturing, enabling businesses to accelerate the adoption of more scalable, efficient and future-ready production systems.
