The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company has announced their backing of the Western Force by becoming a major partner for the 2022 Super Rugby Pacific season.
The company joined the Force family last year as an official partner. Following a successful season together, Goodyear has signed as a major partner for their second year with the club.
Goodyear has been operating for over 120 years and now has 55 facilities in 23 countries.
Goodyear will have their branding displayed on the side panels of the men’s team apparel and training wear for a second year running, with coach polos also sporting their signature logo.
“Having enjoyed a historic year together in 2021, it’s fantastic to see Goodyear increase their support of the club and rugby in Western Australia (WA).” Said Tony Lewis, Chief Executive Officer of the Western Force. “As an organization, we want to build on the strong foundations set last year, so it’s great to have our ambitious vision for growth shared by our partners in 2022.”
“Goodyear is much more than just a tire company. We’re a company dedicated to the relentless pursuit of excellence, encouraging everyone to push past boundaries to reach their full potential.” John Black, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, OTR Asia Pacific at Goodyear commented.
“The Western Force rugby community is built on passion, determination, and a never-say-never attitude that has provided inspiration in the toughest of times. Given the club’s history and the passion of its fans, the Force is a perfect partner for Goodyear to work alongside.” Black added.
