Tenneco Automotive India Pvt Ltd. has announced the opening of its third Monroe Brand Store at Guwahati, Assam in partnership with Monroe Star distributor – Sanjay Auto Agency.
Pankaj Kapoor Deputy Managing Director, Tenneco Automotive India Pvt Ltd. inaugurated the store in the presence of Sanjay Gupta and Ashok Gupta (Partners) of Sanjay Auto Agency, leading Guwahati trade partners and the Tenneco aftermarket team. This unique retail concept provides complete information and a single point of contact for the entire range of Monroe-branded shock absorbers and struts for vehicles across all segments. The Assam opening represents is the third Monroe store to be inaugurated in India after Mumbai and Ghaziabad.
Speaking at the inauguration, Kapoor said, ” Guwahati is a key market for Tenneco India and represents major share of the total aftermarket sales in the country. Monroe currently offers the widest shock and strut product range to the Indian market with applications for all types of vehicles – from passenger cars and SUVs to two- and three- wheelers, off-road, light commercial vehicles and medium- and heavy-duty trucks. Monroe products are available for more than 90% of the cars on Indian roads. This coverage is set to increase as the company continues to add new domestic and international vehicle references, leveraging both its domestic production capacity and that of Tenneco’s facilities in other parts of the world.
