Enabling customers to buy a car from the comfort of their homes, Tata Motors launched the ‘Click to Drive’ platform. Said to offer an end-to-end online sales experience, the new platform has been integrated with all Tata Motors dealers across 750 outlets. The OEM aims to add home delivery in the near term. The platform uses an innovative video brochure to help customers understand and explore various car options and features. Once the customer selects his or her desired car, the platform also offers the option to reserve or pre-book the car. Post narrowing down a dealer, customers are required to pay the booking amount. After the amount is processed, the dealer takes over the buying journey including guiding on price quotation, financing options, providing an estimate on the old car or offering an exchange service through an email, video chat or WhatsApp. Through an immersive virtual showroom experience, called Imaginator available on the Tata Altroz, customers can avail exclusive customisation options.
