Under the ‘Adopt a School Project’, Goodyear has established a new computer lab in partnership with the International Association of Human Values (IAHV) for the students of Zila Parishad Primary School, Gadiwat, Aurangabad. Over 250 students, teachers and community members attended the inauguration ceremony of the new learning facility.
Aligning with the Government of India’s initiatives to promote digital education, such as DIKSHA, PM E-Vidhya, and E-Paathshala, the computer lab facility is said to provide students access to a comprehensive information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure enabling them and their teachers to leverage the benefits of these programs.
The Inauguration Ceremony was attended by Dipali Thavare, Block Education Officer, Aurangabad District; and representatives from Goodyear including Varsha Jain, Head, Legal and Compliance and Ramesh Alva, Manufacturing Director, Aurangabad plant.
