Bounce has announced a new partnership with NoBroker.com, India’s first real estate start-up. Bounce gains access to over 1 lakh Nobroker.com locations across India as a result of this partnership. This smart solution will be widely available in residential welfare societies (apartments, standalone buildings, gated societies, and so on), making it extremely convenient for customers to access the nearest swapping station via their Bounce App. This follows last week’s announcement of a series of partnerships with brands such as Park+, Readyassist, Kitchens@, HelloWorld, and Goodbox to establish over 4,400 battery swapping stations across India. The swapping stations would operate on the same principles as a gas station.
Bounce battery swapping stations will have charged and ready-to-go batteries that customers can easily swap in a minute with their near-empty batteries. Customers would no longer have to wait for the scooter to charge, be concerned about the range, or remember to charge it if this infrastructure was in place. Bounce hopes to establish battery swapping stations within one kilometre of where its customers are, as well as a robust swapping infrastructure to support over a million scooters over the next 24 months, through such prominent partnerships.

Commenting on the partnership,  Vivekananda Hallekere, Co-Founder & CEO, Bounce, said, “We are excited to partner with NoBroker, on our mission to enable swapping infra for a million+ scooters in India. This partnership will offer a seamless swapping experience for consumers and enable us to reach our goals faster”. Commenting on the partnership,  Amit Kumar Agarwal, Co-Founder & CEO, NoBroker, said, ‘’We are excited with this partnership. This not only helps in making the environment more sustainable but also provides a high level of convenience to our NoBrokerHood residents. As NoBrokerHood reaches 1 lakh societies, this partnership would make the reach deeper and help India reduce fossil emissions. NoBrokerHood residents will benefit from drastically reduced noise and air pollution’’.

Bounce is expanding its battery-swapping network in response to the release of its consumer electric scooter, the Bounce Infinity E1. The scooter, which was released on December 2nd, comes with a ‘Battery as a service’ option, which is the first of its kind in the Indian market. This reduces the scooter’s operating costs significantly, by up to 40% when compared to conventional scooters. The Bounce Infinity E1 will also come with a battery that can be removed from the scooter and charged at the customer’s home, office, or wherever it is most convenient.
