Post demonetization the Indian economy has undergone major restructuring that has caused disruption in many industries. In line with this ACMA organised a National seminar on Preparing Aftermarket for Digital Economy, which focused on e-retailing and scope of mobile wallets within the auto component value chain.

Besides, ACMA’s latest initiatives on road safety and usage of genuine components – ‘ACMA Safer Drives’ pavilion allowed visitors to evaluate parts and components and distinguish real from fake, to make well-informed procurement decisions. This is a part of our efforts towards eliminating the usage of counterfeit parts that directly or indirectly leads to road accidents and fatalities in India.

Promoting new innovations also highlights the need for fair trade and protection against product piracy, which are being addressed through the ‘Messe Frankfurt against Copying’ international campaign. The campaign aims to ensure that exhibitors and visitors are fully informed and advised about the registration and assertion of intellectual property rights.
