Since August 2013 Daimler Trucks has been announcing a close cooperation of its Asian entities MFTBC and DICV under the umbrella of Daimler Trucks Asia. While DICV has begun production and export of trucks under the FUSO brand, selected functions like R&D, life-cycle management and some administrative functions have also been put under joint leadership. Both entities had a successful year with FUSO stabilising sales and even doubling its African sales in the first month of 2014 and BharatBenz becoming number 4 in the Indian market only 15 months after launch. As a next step to intensify collaboration, Daimler Trucks has decided on these three important management changes.
