ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems (CVCS) India Ltd has announced the appointment of Paramjit Singh Chadha as its new Managing Director on July 1st, 2025. Mr. Chadha will succeed former MD P Kaniappan, who played a key role in establishing ZF’s strong foundation in the Indian market.
With nearly 40 years of expertise in the automotive industry, Mr. Chadha started his career with Maruti Suzuki and held significant leadership positions such as Regional Head, SBU Head, Plant Head, MD, and even President in companies like Kalyani Brakes, Bosch Chassis Systems, Continental Brakes, and Knorr-Bremse. He is renowned for his work in safety-critical components such as advanced brake systems, and has successfully led three greenfield projects.
Mr. Chadha has also contributed to the development of the automotive sector through his involvement with the ACMA Centre for Excellence and the Indian Value Engineering Society (INVEST). ZF Board member Prof. Dr. Peter Laier and President Akash Passey, have expressed strong confidence in the new MD’s strategic vision and deep understanding of the regional automotive ecosystem. They believe his expertise will allow ZF CVCS India to continue towards innovation.
