Yamaha Motor has organised free service camps for those two-wheelers which are affected in the recent heavy rains and floods which hit Tamil Nadu. Ravinder Singh, Vice President, Strategy and Planning, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. said, “The owners of two-wheelers affected in Chennai, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur and Cuddalore districts due to heavy rains flooding several areas of Tamil Nadu are availing the free service camps to repair their vehicles. Yamaha’s Vehicle Refresh Campaign has been initiated to support these customers wherein we will repair their two-wheelers without any labour charges. India Yamaha Motor started this campaign on 12th December through dealers within the network across the four flood affected districts. We want to provide maximum cover to the affected vehicles and may also extend the campaign further as per the requirements. Till date, we have provided labor free servicing to over 5000 vehicles and may continue running this drive till January 31, 2016 as we get further requests for servicing.”
