Trailblazers of the Circular Economy: Finalists Announced for Plastics Recycling Awards India 2025

The finalists of the Plastics Recycling Awards India 2025 have been announced ahead of the upcoming Plastics Recycling Show India (PRS India), scheduled from 13–15 November 2025 at the Bombay Exhibition Center, Mumbai. The awards recognise innovation, impact and excellence across the plastics recycling ecosystem, with the winners to be declared on 14 November at 1 PM during the show.

This year, entries were shortlisted across five categories, Best Community Effort for Recycling, Plastics Recycling Company, Recycled Plastic Product, Technology & Innovation, and Plastics Recycling Ambassador. The awards aim to highlight organisations and initiatives that are advancing India’s transition towards a circular economy through technology, collaboration and scalable sustainability models.

Commenting on the announcement, Taher Patrawala, Managing Director of Media Fusion, said, “Each finalist represents the growing strength, ingenuity and investment of India’s recycling sector. From local community initiatives to industrial innovation, the diversity of entries is a strong reflection of the momentum India is building in the circular use of plastics.”

PRS India 2025 is expected to bring together recyclers, technology companies, policymakers, FMCG brands, sustainability leaders and industry experts, with a three-day conference covering circular economy frameworks, regulations, advanced recycling technologies, market outlook, and innovation trends. The event is organised by Crain Communications and Media Fusion, in association with Plastics Recyclers Europe.
