Pune,India- March 30,2025 one of the top producers of automotive components in India, Tata Autocomp systems Limited (“TATA AUTOCOMP “) has signed solid contracts to buy up to 80% of Artifex Interior Systems Limited (previously IAC UK).Artifex,which generated GBP 296 million in revenue in FY24-25, will become a member of the Tata AutoComp family upon the completion of this purchase. The acquisition’s completion is contingent to the usual closing requirements and approvals. The majority stake has been acquired by TACO from Jaguar Land Rover Ventures Limited, a division of the Tata Motors Limited-owned Jaguar Land Rover Automotive plc company .
By combining Tata AutoComp’s global reach and experience in the production of automotive components with Artifex’s state-of-the-art automotive innovation interior systems and components (such as the design, production, and integration of overhead systems, instrument panels center consoles, door panels and interior trim), the company will be able to strengthen its ties with important OEMs in the passenger vehicle segment, especially in Europe.Tata AutoComp further solidifies its position as a key supplier to the Jaguar Land Rover vehicle supply chain, expands it’s footprint in the European automotive industry, and solidifies its position as one of India’s biggest producers of automotive components with this acquisition .
