RSB Transmissions (I) Ltd received Quality Excellence Award for 2014 from Aditya Birla Group at 3rd Annual Manufacturing Today Conference & Awards 2014, at a function held in Pune. The award was received by M Sankaranarayanan, President, on behalf of RSB Transmissions (I) Ltd.
Speaking on the occasion, Sankaranarayanan said: “This award is richly deserved by all my colleagues across the group and my TQM team, in particular, who have burned mid-night’s oil to get the world-renowned coveted Deming Prize for Business Excellence”
Awards are given every year by Aditya Birla Group Manufacturing Today to appreciate the challenging times and move of Indian industry professionals in areas of Operations, Quality, HR, Technology, Innovation, etc. and admire, commend, recognize and honor with cheers their endeavors and accomplishments.
While selecting RSB for award in Quality Excellence, a panel of eminent jurists, drawn from the industry, consisting of leading industrialists and top notch professionals, had thread-bare, independent and unbiased scanning of nomination papers based on all-round achievements in allied disciplines of Quality, arrived at unanimous consensus to select RSB for this coveted award and commended RSB for TQM approach and initiative with a unique difference for the year 2013-14.
