P Vijayaraghavan, Director TVS Srichakra Ltd (TVS Tyres), passed away on Tuesday night due to a cardiac arrest.
Vijayaraghavan is fondly remembered for being a part of TVS Group companies for five decades. Part taking in the growth of TVS Srichakra right from its founding days, he actively served the company as the Director on the Board and brought with him invaluable experience in the rubber industry. A post-graduate in Chemistry and a post-graduate in rubber technology from IIT-Kharagpur, he headed Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, and Marketing Functions. He is also credited with the exports growth of TVS Srichakra, a prominent player in the two and three-wheeler tyres and off-highway segment. Team ACI acknowledges his immense contribution to help not just the company he served grow but the sector on the whole.
