Michigan Economic Development Corporation confirms pavilion
Automechanika Shanghai is attracting many new brands to its 2014 show which will take place 9 – 12 December 2014 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, China. So far, the show, which is the world’s second largest Automechanika trade fair for automotive parts, accessories, equipment and services, has sold nearly all of its exhibition space.
Many exhibitors will return to the show with stronger commitments as they have booked bigger booth spaces. Also, a number of new brands have been confirmed. Representing the three main industry sectors, the new brands include: (Parts & Components) Liuzhou Wuling, Motor Service, Qingte Group, Tenneco and TYC Brother Industrial Company; CSR and AE; (Repair & Maintenance) Flying Share, JTC and Keppler; and (Accessories & Tuning) Benrui, GLARE, Grafityp, Huadian Powerful, Rowe and Starworks.
Exhibiting at the show for the first time, Motor Service is a leading supplier of aftermarket engine components in China and Southeast-Asia. Ms Emeline Xie, the company’s Marketing Manager said: “We hope to leverage the enormous media resources that the Automechanika brand offers so we can enjoy mass exposure to global markets. We will also participate in the many fringe programmes which give us the chance to network with people from different countries.”
Another new exhibitor will be Qingte Group, one of China’s key commercial vehicle axle and special vehicle manufacturers. The head of Marketing Department Mr WangYi said: “We have heard about the show several times from our local and overseas customers as well as industry organisations, and many of our important customers come to this show every year. We hope to enhance our corporate image and find suitable business partners by exhibiting at this strong business platform.”
Also making their first appearance at Automechanika Shanghai are Benrui and Beijing Jin Yuan Shi Qin Electro-mechanical Equipments Co Ltd, a company promoting Taiwan brand JTC which supplies repair tools to market leaders such as Mercedes Benz and BMW. They have chosen to exhibit at Automechanika Shanghai so more domestic and overseas distributors will know about their brand. Mr Cui Jiankuo, the company’s Marketing Manager explained: “We know that everyone involved in the automotive aftermarket comes to this show. It will be an important marketing channel for us to showcase not only our products but the brand as a whole to a worldwide audience. We will have a car repair demonstration showing correct tool usage which will expose our products to our target audience. When they feel good about our tools, they will remember our brand.”
Benrui is one of America’s largest car care brands. “China has the most cars within a country and this offers tremendous potential for the aftermarket sector,” explained Mr Zhou Lei, General Manager of Benrui (Shenzhen). “In China, we have many trade fair choices related to the aftermarket industry but it’s not that easy to find a leading fair like Automechanika Shanghai that is guiding industry development. We are attracted by the new Accessories & Tuning Key Brand Hall which can highlight our brand and offer more detailed product categories allowing us to introduce our DIM car care system to large crowds.”
Michigan Economic Development Corporation confirms pavilion
Automechanika Shanghai, the one-stop platform for the three auto sectors also receives support from pavilion organisers. This year there will be a new pavilion organised by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) which is a US state-funded economic development corporation that encourages the continued growth of the state’s auto industry. The Michigan government is keen to use Messe Frankfurt’s enormous industry resources to help foster its auto industry development as the show is an irreplaceable platform for the Michigan’s auto parts companies, which have the world’s leading advanced automotive parts research and development and manufacturing standards to showcase different areas of products and services at the show.
In addition to the MEDC pavilion there are confirmed pavilions from China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UK and the US. Pavilions from Austria and Argentina are expected to be confirmed shortly.
