“Vitara Brezza gets space in traditional showroom and not in Nexa”
Delhi auto expo kicked off in grand style with the segment leader and premiere in India Maruti Suzuki unveiling its compact urban SUV. Vitara Brexxa-strong masculine with a raised stance and dynamic styling brings immense style and glamour to the vehicle. The interior is bold, impressive and contemporary, a dashboard that bears a futuristic layout, resolute garnishing, a progressive meter cluster, sporty seats and smart and versatile flip folded rear seats.
Vitara Brezza has been conceptualised, designed and developed in India using a suzuki global platform and engine. The development of the vehicle was done using Suzuki’s core technology and global product development process. The localisation level is 98% and the development cost was Rs 860 crore.
Class leading features
The vehicle is high on personalisation. Customers can enjoy custom car experience straight from the show room. The embellished attributes match the personality of the customer a feature never seen before in this segment. Dual color scheme with floating roof feel is another category first and imparts distinct identity to Vitara Brezza unveiled in the Delhi auto expo. In terms of technology and features, Vitara Brezza raises the bar with several first in class features like “Bull Horn” shaped LED light guides with projector headlamps and rear combination lamp, unique cockpit style instrument cluster with mood lights, large and wide tyres with smart-play infotainment.
The vehicle is unveiled when Toshihiro Suzuki, COO, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan and Kenichi Ayukawa, MD and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India, took the covers off a dual color blazing red with midnight black vehicle.
Addressing on the occasion Toshihiro Suzuki said, “In ‘suzuki next100’, our midterm management plan, Indi ais positioned as the most important strategic market and production base. It is developed under unique process to design with a special focus on the taste and values of the Indian customers.”
Highlighting on the eccentricity of the brand Ayukawa said, “Vitara Brezza is true to the category of the segment with a muscular, bold and sporty attributes alongside a distinctive presence. Built on Suzuki platform, the vehicle has been conceptualised, designed and developed in India using Suzuki’s global development processes. We believe this model appeals to Indian customers in its design, packaging and features.”
Dynamic and confident
A blend of SUV grace and urban presence is showcased in Vitara Brezza. The signature ‘Bull Horn’ lights with unique turn indicators in the front bumper lend distinctness to the vehicle. Balanced proportion supported by square and wheel arches, short overhangs, high ground clearance and upright hood gives the vehicle a confident stance. The vehicle is powered by th acclaimed 200 DDIS engine mated with 5-speed manual transmission. Precisely selected gear ratios give excellent driving pleasure and use of multiple technologies ensures stylish SUV stands tall on the promise of fuel efficiency. While customers in this segment prefer the powerful peppy ride offered by the diesel trim, the company’s petrol trim is also likely to be introduced in the near future.
Vitara Brezza ensures safety
Vitara Brezza meets offset and side impacts crash tests that will come into force in India in 2017.It is the first vehicle in India to be certified by homologation agency for meeting these future regulations. A stronger high tensile steel body not only offers superior ride-handling but also enhances occupant protection.
