LANXESS Extends CFO Oliver Stratmann’s Term by Five Years

The Supervisory Board of LANXESS, the global specialty chemicals company, has reappointed Oliver Stratmann as a member of the Board of Management and extended his contract as Chief Financial Officer for an additional five years. His new term will begin on September 1, 2026, ensuring continuity following the completion of his initial three-year tenure.

‎“Oliver Stratmann is doing an excellent job as Chief Financial Officer in these challenging times. Solid, forward-looking financial planning is crucial right now, and his deep understanding of global financial markets is of great value to the company,” said Rainier van Roessel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

LANXESS CEO Matthias Zachert also endorsed the decision, stating: “I am very pleased that Oliver Stratmann will continue to be part of our Executive Board team. His financial expertise and leadership will be essential as we navigate the difficult environment currently facing the global chemical industry.”
