The distinguished speakers discussed about the role of budget and government policy in the domain of Automotive Manufacturing and how it affects the behaviour of buyers and its impact on the environment. They also appreciated the government’s efforts to push forward the “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” mission and asserted that the industry supports the government’s vision.
Two consecutive sessions were held – while the first one discussed the impact of the Union Budget on Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid &) Electric Vehicles in India (FAME India) Scheme and State Policy for EVs and Public Transportation; the second session held discussions on End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs) and vehicle scrappage policy.
The webinar was attended by dignitaries from throughout the industry and keen participation was witnessed during the Q&A sessions.
