The recently concluded Automotive Engineering Show (AES) 2014 at the Auto Cluster Exhibition Centre at Chinchwad, Pune showcased technologies for automotive manufacturing and products designed to suit the requirements of the Indian automobile industry. Organised byMesse Frankfurt India the 8th edition of AES saw over 100 participants in the 3-day event. The organisers have planed to double the exhibitors count for next year’s edition to be held in Chennai.
The trade fair focused on the technologies for automotive manufacturing segment that sees a potential to go global. The Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt India Raj Manek said, “The competency and competitiveness of India’s auto industry had received global attention. As competition intensifies among vehicle manufacturers, companies across the value chain must adapt their strategies to aim for operational excellence. We are glad that companies see AES as a platform to source new technologies and connect with the industry.”
