Automotive navigation software, content, and services provider NNG LLC has named Giles Shrimpton as CEO, effective March 1, 2016. Shrimpton brings with him a proven track record of success as a leader in the automotive industry. As NNG goes through a period of exponential growth, he will oversee development and expansion to ensure that the company maintains its role as a leader in the industry.

Shrimpton started his career as a software engineer and has held senior positions at Philips, Siemens, Valeo, TomTom, and Mirror Controls. He is a former Executive Board member and Managing Director Automotive for TomTom where he created a fully automotive compliant organization and drove the volume introduction of Connected Navigation and Services. He gained his international experience while working for major automotive suppliers based in the U.K., U.S., France, Netherlands, and China.
