Tenneco Automotive India Pvt Ltd today announced the opening of its fourth Monroe Brand Store at Hyderabad in Telangana State. Prior to this, Tenneco opened the first store in Mumbai in Jan 2013, the second in Ghaziabad near Delhi in March 2014 & Third at Guwahati in Sept’14. The Monroe Brand Store, was opened in partnership with Monroe distributor Arvind Auto Agencies. Monroe currently offers the widest shock and strut product range to the Indian automotive market with applications for all types of vehicles – from passenger cars, SUVs, two & three wheelers, off-road, light commercial vehicles, medium and heavy-duty trucks. Monroe products are available for more than 86% of the cars running on Indian roads. This coverage is set to increase as the company continues to add new domestic and international vehicle references, leveraging both its domestic production capacity and that of Tenneco’s facilities in other parts of the world.

The Monroe brand has been growing strongly in India over the last few years, and it is being accepted as similar to OE spares in the Aftermarket due to quality, reliability & service. “Over the last three years, our growth rate has outpaced the markets. We are on track to reach the number one position in the Indian After market with our Monroe brand, the position we already enjoy in North America and Europe,” Kapoor said.

He also announced the opening of a similar brand store at Siliguri (West Bengal) in Nov’14. Further, he launched the updated Tenneco India website, E Catalogue & E Commerce which offers in-depth information and will be a useful tool for trade partners & actual users.  Tenneco has on an average 800 visitors on E Commerce followed by enquiries and orders which indicates the awareness and positive change in Indian after market. “Our objective is to support the growth of the independent after market in India. In addition to superior products, we are also committed to providing our customers with tools such as electronic catalogues and local websites designed to provide easy access with latest information,” he added.
