Haas factory outlet, a division of CNC Servicing and Solutions, is organising a demo day at the Nashik Engineering Cluster, MIDC Ambad. Scheduled for May 7th, 8th and 9th, the visitors will have the opportunity to see live cutting demonstrations on two CNC machine tools: VF-3 CNC vertical machining centre; and ST-10Y CNC turning centre.
ST-10Y, a high-productivity machine, is equipped with C-axis and live tooling, enabling turning and milling complex parts. In addition it performs multiple operations in one set-up, increasing throughput, reducing handling and improving accuracy. Like its larger siblings in the ST range, the ST-10Y provides a small-footprint, economical solution but with many full-size, productivity-enhancing features.
The VF-3 CNC vertical machining centre has travels of 1016mm x 508mm x 635 mm (xyz), uses a 40 taper spindle driven by a 22.4 kW vector drive motor delivering high torque through to 8100 rpm. It has a 20-station carousel tool changer and 25.4 m/min rapids.
Like all Haas CNC machine tools, the VF-3 and the ST-10Y are built at the company’s one and only factory, in California, USA. A global network of local Haas Factory Outlets (HFOs) supports all Haas products, each one employing factory-trained engineers and stocking official Haas spare parts, ensuring customers’ machines are kept running with minimum disruption.
